Steven has worked in international insurance and reinsurance markets for more than 40 years, previously serving as UK Country Manager for Generali Group, CFO for Generali’s UK corporate and specialty businesses, CFO for Travelers’ Lloyd’s managing agency and financial executive roles with Travelers global reinsurance business. Prior to joining Coverys Europe, he was founder and CEO of Old Shore Advisory, a specialist consultancy focused on insurance and risk markets, and interim CFO for Climate‑KIC, a European knowledge and innovation community working to accelerate the transition to a zero‑carbon economy. He also advised consultancy Axilo to help organisations design, build, and manage portfolios of strategic options focused on renewal and innovation.

Doug has over 25 years’ experience in International Insurance Underwriting, previously serving as Global Head of Financial Lines Underwriting at Generali Global Corporate & Commercial. Starting his career at AIG, he has held executive positions at both Zurich and Aviva. He has worked and lived in the USA, Ireland, Italy, and UK developing underwriting strategies for both domestic and global markets. His expertise is in formulating highly governed growth strategies. He translates these strategies into pragmatic action plans building networks and underwriting acumen while meticulously monitoring performance for continuous improvement.

Dennis has 50 years of experience in the insurance industry. He was initially employed as a reinsurance underwriter with Eagle Star and then as a Lloyd’s underwriter with the Merrett Managing Agency before becoming CEO of the agency and subsequently of the Merrett Group. He joined the Zurich Group, becoming CEO of their reinsurance and specialty company in London before being recruited as CEO of Rhine Re, a KKR-owned company based in Switzerland. After a number of acquisitions and the re-domestication of the company to Bermuda, the company was floated on the UK stock exchange. Dennis acts as commercial advisor to Coverys Europe.

Natalie has over 15 years’ experience working for multinational corporations. Prior to joining Coverys Europe, Natalie worked at the Institute of Directors, Reuters, Deloitte, and R&Q in senior administration, operations, and project management roles. Natalie manages the onboarding of all agencies into our network, working extensively to aid in their seamless transition.

Daniel has worked in insurance for 20 years and has a background in operations, compliance and underwriting. Prior to joining Coverys Europe, Daniel worked within the Lloyd's Market and for a specialist MGA and has extensive experience in implementing underwriting systems, process management, data analytics and delivering operational efficiencies for businesses.
